We are a small and growing staff team, with a deep commitment to building the field and working collaboratively. The staff team deliver Tudor’s strategy, governance, operations, and grant-making programme.

Raji Hunjan (CEO)
Raji (she/her) is an experienced charity leader who has worked both in philanthropy as a grant-maker and in the voluntary sector, combining direct services and campaigning. Through these experiences she has worked on a broad range of social justice issues and has a particular passion for building the power of people with direct experience of social and racial injustices.
Raji is currently the CEO of The Tudor Trust where her focus has been to lead Tudor through a period of transformation towards a new strategy centred around racial, social and economic justice.
Previously, Raji was the Programme Director of Housing and Homelessness at the Oak Foundation, responsible for $32 million of funding annually to charities across the UK and US. Previous roles include CEO of Z2K, an anti-poverty charity addressing homelessness and the faults within the state benefits system; Operations Director at INQUEST and Director at North Kensington Law Centre. Previous to this, Raji held senior positions at the Carnegie UK Trust, and consultancy roles at other trusts and foundations.
Raji was also the Chair of the Independent London Housing Panel in 2019/2020, funded by the Trust for London and the Greater London Authority to influence the Mayor's Housing Strategies and the London Plan. As part of this, she was also a member of the Mayor's Homes for Londoners Board. In 2018 she was a member of the Shelter Commission on the Future of Social Housing.

Anna Coney (Systems & Operations Lead)
Anna (she/her) is our Systems and Operations Lead. She oversees the development of Tudor’s grant-making systems and provides support across a wide range of areas including grant payments, managing grant lifecycles, communications and learning – so that processes run smoothly and align with our culture and strategy.
Prior to joining Tudor, Anna was Grants Officer at the J Paul Getty Jnr Charitable Trust. Before that she undertook a mix of public and voluntary sector roles, while working towards an MSc in Development Management with the Open University.
Earlier in her career, Anna led and volunteered on environmental and community projects in places including Madagascar and Sri Lanka. She is currently a trustee of her local village hall.

Eryl Foulkes (Grants Manager)
Eryl (she/her) is a grants manager at Tudor and looks after Tudor’s legacy grants. Over her time at Tudor, Eryl has led on Tudor's criminal justice work and other initiatives.
She brings with her a wealth of voluntary sector experience having previously worked as a Small Groups Worker, a Volunteer Organiser, Fundraiser and Director which together bring a good combination of direct service provision and grant-making.

Jonny Matfin (Historian)
Jonny works as a historian-in-residence at Tudor, researching and writing about the development of the Trust since its foundation in 1955, to help mark our 70th anniversary in 2025.
Prior to joining Tudor, Jonny was a PhD scholarship researcher and academic tutor at Birkbeck, University of London, working on the contemporary history of higher education, and teaching history to part-time and mature students.
Jonny also previously qualified and worked as a journalist and has in recent years produced original work on British social and cultural history for print, radio and live audiences.

Tim Nicholls (Head of Finance & Resources)
Tim Nicholls (he/him) is our Head of Finance and Resources, with responsibility for all back-office operations, whilst also acting as Company Secretary.
Tim is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and has held senior roles in the charity sector for fifteen years. Prior to that he held positions in the NHS and wider not-for-profit sectors.
Outside of his professional work, Tim has held numerous trustee roles in the charity sector and is currently a Trustee of Charity Finance Group where he is Treasurer and Chairs the Finance and Audit Committee. He also sits on the Members Advisory Council of the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) having been elected in March 2025.

Mariam Radi (Programme Officer)
Mariam Radi (she/her) is a Programme Officer at Tudor, supporting the development of our Change We Seek grant-making strategy, alongside building and managing relationships with our partners.
Prior to joining Tudor, Mariam worked as a policy officer at the Wellcome Trust with a focus on global climate and health policy. Previously, Mariam was at Professors Without Borders a charity dedicated to improving equitable access to quality education.
Mariam holds and BA in criminology and sociology and MA in international relations.

Jemmar Samuels (Programme Officer)
Jemmar (she/they) is a Programme Officer at Tudor, supporting the development of our Change We Seek grant-making strategy, alongside building and managing relationships with our partners.
Prior to joining Tudor, Jemmar worked across the third sector in communications, youth work and youth organising, and campaigns at organisations such as Friends of the Earth and INQUEST.
Outside their work at Tudor, Jemmar is a campaigner and organiser. They are one of the co-founders and co-organisers of The Halo Collective and founder of Collective Punishment Campaign.

Dan Seifu (Programme Officer)
Dan (he/him) is a Programme Officer at Tudor, supporting the development of our Change We Seek grant-making strategy, alongside building and managing relationships with our partners.
Prior to joining Tudor, Dan worked in a range of roles across the non-profit sector, with a focus on strategy development, climate justice and youth organising. This included being an associate with HUDL Youth Development Agency and a Consultant at New Philanthropy Capital. Dan’s interest in philanthropy started during his time as a member of the Involving Young People Collective at Esmée Fairbairn.
Outside of Tudor, Dan is a trustee at Possible, a climate action charity and volunteers as an outdoor based youth mentor, as well as a ranger with London National Park City.

Elise St. Palmer (Head of People & Culture)
Elise (she/her) is our Head of People and Culture, with responsibility for developing and implementing a holistic people and culture strategy and embedding Tudor’s behaviours and JEDIB principles into every aspect of the organisation.
Elise started her career as an English language teacher, before moving into widening participation and working with young people as a project coordinator, and then moving into operations and people leadership positions in the third sector.
Elise has a BA in TESOL with Ethnicity and Human Rights and has a CIPD Level 5 associate diploma.

Dilys Winterkorn (Head of Programmes)
Dilys Winterkorn (she/her) is our Head of Programmes, where she works to ensure that Tudor's programmes live our Change We Seek strategy and fuel systemic change.
She has worked closely with philanthropists, funders and communities to ‘do philanthropy differently’ through justice-driven approaches to giving, philanthropy, and wealth building. Before joining Tudor, Dilys was Project Director at the Pathway Fund, the UK’s first racial equity-focused social investment fund and has advised foundations and philanthropists.
Outside of Tudor, Dilys is a PhD researcher in African philanthropy at SOAS, trustee at The Pret Foundation, and Co-opted Investment Committee Member at the Friends Provident Foundation.
