OUR ECOSYSTEM
Building an ecosystem for change
Working in community
Building an ecosystem reflects our commitment to shift power and develop strong relationships between philanthropy and community, in ways that make systemic change more possible.
This work started as a natural evolution of developing our Change We Seek framework and through learning and working alongside movement builders in the field. In mapping the conditions for a just future with them, we also saw the gaps for making this future happen. This clarity over what’s needed and what’s missing guided our recent grant-making.
Rooted in racial justice, power analysis, systems mapping, and systems thinking, our ecosystem is always evolving and will inform how we continue our grant-making going forward.
